BoobyMilkPops and Angry Periods

You all know that when I've not written in a while a new and  exhilarating post is here to await.

Today I came across two intriguing finds, one earlier in the day when I was browsing through yahoo and the other on a friends wall on Facebook.

1. What is the most outrageous flavor of a lollipop that you can think of? Probably something like coconut avocado wild berry swirl, that sounds ridiculously distasteful, but still not the most outrageous flavor on the market. An award winning lollipop company in the USA, Lollyphile  has come up with a Breast Milk Flavored Lollipop that was beta tested and approved by their signature palette tasters. They didn't actually use real breast milk to make the lollipops, the FDA would never approve of that plus milk makes terrible lollipops. However someone literally had to milk a breast and taste actual breast milk to get the flavor profiles just right. Now this is something. But guess what happens now, these guys get all this attention and get many customers rushing in just to try the "BoobyMilkPops" and the other lollipops such as maple bacon and Absinthe. 2. The Second is the 2009 PC Magazine Editors award winning entry for customer mail sent via email. A lady wrote a letter to the P&G department head for feminine Hygiene, a guy by the way. In her letter she laments about how pleased she is with the products so much so that she has been using them for the past 20 years. She asks him if he knows what a period feels like, obviously I gave has idea how much a lady feel during her monthly's, but her main point is that one the wrapper the message printed was Have a Happy Period, but based on her experiences happy and period don't go in the same sentence. She says that her husband refers to her as an 'inbred hillbilly with knife skills. And she finds the upbeat comments as condescending and insensitive. They should in her opinion be 'Put down the Hammer' or 'Vehicular Manslaughter is Wrong'. She then when on to say that she will taking her business elsewhere. I think she is definitely is overreacting because she likes to use the product but, I guess she was on her period when she wrote the letter, not a very rational consumer. For the article click here
