#CollegeEconomist's Child's Play Challenge

May in Jamaica is Child's Month, but I had a thought why not for a day do something as if we were a child. A day a whole day, if you can't do a whole day because of work   do an activity on the weekend. If you still can't participate then don't...Just tell somebody else.

The Child's Play Challenge

When most of us were children we were not exposed to the vast amount of technology that is available now, some us actually used to go outside and use our imagination to create adventures. Simply because play was important. Child Specialists will tell you that play is extremely important for the mental and physical development of the child. The natural exploratory sense that we had as children we tend to lose or suppress as adults. Exploration allows us to learn new things.

So here is the challenge: For one day , one activity or at least two hours I'm asking you to put aside your adult thinking and explore as if you were a child again.

What do I mean?
Put down the computer, the cellphone, the tablet, turn off the television and go outside. Engage in an activity that forces you to use your imagination to have fun.
For e.g.:
Driving a car could be your space ship, then you explore the planet and search for aliens.
Take a trek through the backyard and search for creatures
Do something a try to remember without taking a picture
Star-Gaze
Cowboys and Aliens
Cops and Robbers
etc.

The point is to find something that is inside you that you don't think is there. Exploring your inner child might be a key to help you unlock some of your adult problems and help you to economize in your decision making, ditch the old tired routine and live a little and good thing is it won;t cost you any money

PS: If you have children, or are close to some get them involved. One thing I learned about children is that playing with an adult is ten times as fun.
